Witnessing the closure of a church due to inadequate risk management early in his career left an indelible mark on him, igniting a passion to prevent such tragedies. Jeff is driven by a mission to equip the organizations we serve with robust risk management solutions, ensuring they not only survive, but flourish.
Jeff finds contentment in outdoor activities and excitement in watching college football. Together with his wife, DeAwna, they enjoy their three children and their three Siberian Huskies.

With more than 30 years in insurance and a passion for ministry support, Kurt Hetherington is a visionary leader empowering his team to serve as integral risk management advisors. He’s committed to meeting the evolving needs of customers and living by Colossians 3:23, honoring the Lord in all he does.
Outside work, he cherishes time with his wife, family, and church community. At home, he's often found on his tractor, tending to projects. Blessed with over three decades of marriage to Esther, they treasure their children, son-in-law, and four grandchildren as gifts from above.

Beyond work, Terry enjoys following Iowa sports teams, serving in his church, and maintaining walking trails on their property. His greatest joy comes from spending time with his wife, Doreen, their four children, their spouses, and their eleven cherished grandchildren, who bring immense pride and joy to their lives.

Brandon Smith has been dedicated to serving the commercial insurance needs of East and South East Arkansas since 2008. With certifications as a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and a Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Brandon brings expertise and a commitment to excellence to his clients, emphasizing tailored solutions and attentive service.
Outside of work, Brandon is actively involved in his community, serving as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for children in foster care and as the public address announcer for his local high school football team. He resides in Des Arc, AR, with his wife Amy, sharing a passion for sports, outdoor activities, and community engagement.

Serving the Church is both a calling and passion, shared with his customers, agency team, and company alike. Together, Ed and the Lightwell agency stand shoulder to shoulder with their customers, providing advisory and supportive roles in their ministry journey.
Outside work, Ed finds joy in hiking, biking, and kayaking. Married to Carol, they cherish time with their two children, Aaron and Kara, and their two granddaughters.

Outside of work, Aaron and his family love exploring new places, hiking, camping, and cycling together. Alongside his wife, Jennifer, they cherish parenthood with their two daughters.

Marshall finds joy in playing disc golf, reading, lifting weights, and expressing his creativity through painting. However, his greatest joy comes from spending quality time with his family. Alongside his wife, Emily, they cherish parenting their four children.

Ernie listens attentively and works diligently to earn trust and foster enduring connections.
In his spare time, Ernie finds joy in bowhunting, fishing, snorkeling, and travel adventures. Together with his wife, Mindy, they cherish time with their two daughters and son, finding fulfillment in both family and professional endeavors.

Sara Ostransky
Sara Ostransky is dedicated to listening to people with genuine interest and connecting them with the help they need. With a background as a PK (pastor's kid), she possesses an innate understanding of pastors and churches, coupled with a heartfelt commitment to serve them. Sara thrives on connecting with individuals and serving as a valuable resource for churches, denominational offices, and ministry partners.
In her free time, Sara indulges in cookbooks, baking, reading, gardening, walking, and working out. Alongside her husband, she has three grown sons and seven grandchildren.

Randy Westhoff
Randy Westhoff, Client Relationship Executive, brings a deep passion for serving Christian ministries throughout rural Iowa. Prior to joining Lightwell, Randy owned and operated a small business in his hometown and spent years actively involved in the rural Iowa community. He holds an Iowa Casualty and Property Insurance License and specializes in providing tailored solutions for churches and ministries facing unique challenges.
Randy grew up in small-town Iowa, where he and his wife Taunya raised their two daughters, Ana and Elle. Ana now serves as a missionary in Brazil with her husband, and Elle is beginning her nursing career in the Twin Cities.
Outside of the office, Randy enjoys gardening, maintaining their family acreage, and raising hundreds of perennials each year as a fundraiser for mission work and youth trips. One of his favorite Bible verses is Romans 5:3-5, which reminds him that perseverance and hope are born through trials and strengthened by God’s love.
